The Queen’s death has prompted an unprecedented outpouring of grief from around the world and amongst our residents at Weston House.
In light of the sad news of her passing, we decided today to take a look back and chat, about the very beginning of her landmark 70-year reign – the moment Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth II all the way though to the present day.
Below are some heartfelt messages to Her Majesty The Queen from our residents.
💭 Resident Sue: “It’s such very sad news of such a beautiful, iconic queen. The Queen has been by our side leading the way, she showed throughout her life integrity, compassion and always there for the country and the commonwealth. RIP you will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Thank you for all the years of service.”
💭 Resident John says: “Our Queen represented tradition, an older time that’s going to be lost, and I feel she was a strong spiritual influence on a nation that will be missed.”
