We provide personal, tailored care and support for adults with a range of mental health problems, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and self-harming.
At Weston House, our friendly team and welcoming environment are designed to create a positive home where service uses feel empowered to be themselves; safely. Every person who comes to live in Weston House has their own personal care plan, created in consultation with their social worker, GP, and the rest of their support network. Each unique care plan is in place to help service-users to control their illness and ultimately live a safe and independent life.
24-hour residential care and supervision comes from our qualified team who work closely with external partners including GPs, social workers, psychiatrists, district nurses, physiotherapists, and the SALT team to create and deliver a personal care plan for every resident to help them to manage their mental illness.
We have 33 single bedrooms, 30 with en suite facilities. Lounges, a dining room, residents’ kitchenette, a quiet room, and outside space including barbeque make up the rest of the home. We also have a large secure kitchen where all meals are prepared freshly for every meal and on-site laundry.

The home is managed by Acting Home Manager James Machin-Brzozowski. James oversees the day to day running of the home, liaison with friends, family, relatives, and external professionals such as GPs. James oversees the planning of a busy social calendar to make sure there are plenty of activities for service-users to choose from to fill their days.
What motivates me the most is the need to make a difference in the lives of the people I have the privilege of supporting. Knowing that someone’s life is better because I have contributed in one way, or another gives me such a buzz.
